kitsch is an art multi space designed and created by two young artists Soraia Gomes Anastacio and Vasilis Thalassinos, located in Thiva-Greece. Kitsch is presenting each month a different artist from the fields of plastic arts,photography, comic, video art and installation. Organizing interactive and experimental workshops of various themes the group of Kitsch is ambitious to open a dialogue around the applications of contemporary art scene in everyday living.Collaborating with some of the leading companies in the field of industrial design as well with creators of handmade objects from around the world ends up to present a very well chosen collection of items that reflect the modern tendencies as these develop in the big metropolitan centers. Street wear clothing designed from young emerging designers in the campus of fashion and handmade accessories can be found also among art books and analog photographic cameras that claim to inspire the public to create its own personal forms of expression and overcome the static role of consumer.
